What You’ll Do
Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions with sales representatives to reinforce key sales behaviors and best practices.
Use tools like HighMatch and Intake Questionnaires to gain a working knowledge of each representative’s strengths, style, and development areas.
Role-play real-life sales scenarios to help reps refine their messaging, improve delivery, and build confidence.
Review sales call plans and account advancement techniques to support success at each stage of the sales cycle.
Introduce and reinforce weekly routing plans to promote consistent, high-quality outreach to prospective clients.
Support reps in overcoming objections, improving messaging, and increasing close rates.
Help sales reps prioritize activities and manage their sales goals, ensuring consistent progress toward individual and team targets.
Maintain detailed coaching notes and communicate progress, concerns, and successes with client leadership.
Act as a resource and accountability partner for each sales representative, providing feedback, encouragement, and tactical support.
Track performance metrics, flag challenges, and celebrate wins to help sustain momentum and morale across the sales team.
Ensure adherence to the client’s sales processes and methodologies.
Identify opportunities to expand client engagement by recommending and upselling additional services that address emerging needs.
Perform other duties as required.
Strong practical understanding of the sales process, with experience in sales development, sales enablement, and outside sales.
Strong coaching and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide sales professionals of varying skill levels.
Skill in planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks to support multiple sales reps and manage ongoing schedules.
Ability to clearly and constructively provide feedback, and to lead productive coaching conversations.
Effective communicator, both in writing and verbally, with a professional and encouraging style.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online collaboration platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of corporate sales experience with a strong record of performance.
3+ years of experience in sales coaching, sales enablement, or a related sales leadership role.
