Platinum Sales Consultant

What You’ll Do

The Platinum Sales Consultant will deliver direct consulting support to home care and home health agencies, using Platinum’s established methodologies and tools to train, coach, and guide sales teams toward measurable growth. This person will serve as an extension of the Principal Consultant, enabling the firm to take on additional clients without compromising the depth or quality of service. This person must be able to independently manage client relationships, assess team performance, facilitate training, and coach healthcare sales teams. The Consultant will be expected to represent the Platinum brand, replicate the Principal Consultant’s approach and standards, and contribute to the ongoing development of client strategies and service delivery models. 

Your Responsibilities

Consulting: 

  • Provide direct consulting services to client organizations, including in-person and remote support. 

  • Build and maintain a close, collaborative relationship with each client’s sales leader, aligning on strategy, priorities, and communication. 

  • Proactively engage sales leadership through regular meetings, updates, and ongoing dialogue to ensure coaching efforts stay fully integrated with the leader’s vision and direction. 

  • Demonstrate comfort and professionalism when working with business owners and senior executives, adapting coaching style to effectively support and influence leaders at all levels. Facilitate training sessions for sales reps, liaisons, and leaders on topics such as referral development, confidence building, communication, and accountability. 

  • Evaluate sales processes and team effectiveness; identify gaps and recommend strategies. 

  • Collaborate with Principal Consultant on strategic planning for client accounts and custom program design. 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client owners and executives; maintain strong, long-term relationships. 

  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and ramp-up of sales team members for client organizations. 

  • Manage workload, travel, and engagement delivery independently while maintaining regular communication with Suzanne. 

  • Uphold Platinum’s brand standards, messaging, and service expectations in all client-facing work. 

  • Perform additional duties as needed. 

Training & Presenting: 

  • Present at multi-day, in-person training workshops hosted by Platinum, serving as a facilitator and representative of the Platinum methodology. 

  • Deliver engaging virtual “mini” training sessions for sales reps, liaisons, and leaders, ensuring consistency with Platinum’s standards. 

  • Collaborate with Principal Consultant to prepare for training events, mastering materials in advance and aligning on delivery style. 

  • Adapt presentations to diverse audiences, from frontline reps to agency executives, and maintain executive presence throughout. 

  • Provide follow-up guidance to reinforce training takeaways and ensure participants apply what they’ve learned. 

  • Represent the Platinum brand professionally in both group and one-on-one training settings. 

Sales Coaching: 

  • Conduct recurring one-on-one coaching sessions with sales reps, using tools like HighMatch and intake questionnaires to tailor development based on individual strengths and gaps. 

  • Provide hands-on coaching through role-play, call planning, and objection handling to enhance sales messaging, delivery, and confidence. 

  • Guide reps in building and following weekly routing plans, advancing accounts, and progressing through all stages of the sales cycle. 

  • Track rep performance, maintain coaching documentation, and communicate progress, wins, and concerns with client leadership. 

  • Serve as a resource and accountability partner to help reps prioritize sales activities, stay aligned to goals, and adhere to client sales processes. 

  • Identify opportunities to expand client engagement by recommending and upselling additional services that address emerging needs. 

  • Perform additional client-facing duties as needed. 

Our Perfect Candidate

  • Industry expertise in home care, home health, or hospice is required. 

  • Significant experience in referral-based sales and business development. 

  • Ability to coach and develop individuals and teams at all levels. 

  • Proven ability to deliver dynamic presentations in both multi-day, in-person workshops and virtual training settings 

  • Capable of quickly evaluating performance issues and recommending actionable solutions. 

  • Excellent communication, professionalism, and executive presence. 

  • Comfortable managing multiple accounts and adapting to each client’s culture and needs. 

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online collaboration platforms.  

  • Able to travel as required (typically 2–4 times per month depending on client needs). 

Education

  • 5+ years in a sales role within home care, home health, or hospice.  

  • 3+ years of experience in sales coaching, sales enablement, or a related sales leadership role. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred.

Working Conditions

Employees of Griffin Resources operate in a professional office environment. Employees must provide themselves with a designated workspace free from noise and distractions when working remotely. The employee routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and virtual tools such as web cameras and video programs. The employee must be camera ready during normal working hours.
